The spray gun assembly shall be capable of operating at a pressure range of 0 to
800 psi with solid stream orifice adjustment. Two sets of three interchangeable
nozzle tips or discs, with orifice sizes capable of solid stream dispersal of 56
through not less than 360 gph shall be provided with each unit. The discharge
hose shall be at least 50 feet in length with a diameter of not less than 0.5
inch. The suction and bypass hoses shall be a minimum of 16 feet each. The
suction hose shall be noncollapsible and not less than 1.5 inches in diameter.

the hours as specified in Section 4, using water or other liquid
specified by the Government as spray material. The rate of spraying
shall be varied during testing but will involve operating the sprayer at
maximum pressure and application rate for not less than 8 hours and
dispensing a minimum of 2500 gallons of spray material. The spray
pattern produced shall vary from a wide angle mist to a solid stream.
b. Comply with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requirements for
dispensing registered pesticides labeled for pest control by liquid mist

the system.
3.8.1 Burst pressure. Any component or system pressurized shall be able to
withstand a burst pressure of four times the maximum operating Pressure (see
4.5.2.5) or for pressure greater than 15 psi shall bear the appropriate ASME
Code Symbol.
3.9 Noise limits.
3.9.1 Personnel noise. The noise level at the operator's station shall not
