6.2 Acquisition requirements. Acquisition documents should specify the following:

Title, number, and date of this specification.
Size of sprayer (see 1.2).

Valve cages, if required (see 3.7.5).

Pressure-reducing valve, if required (see 3.7.6.1).

Refiller assembly, if required (see 3.7.9).
j.
Spray boom and mounting kit, if required (see 3.7.10).
k.
Service kit, if required (see 3.7.11).
l.
Toolbox, if required (see 3.7.12).
m.
Finish coat color, when specified (see 3.8).
n.
Identification plates, if not to be furnished (see. 3.9.1).
o.
Lubrication requirements, if different (see 3.10).
p.
AQL for conformance inspection (see 4.3.1).
q.
Packaging requirements (see 5.1).
6.3 First article. When a first article inspection is required, the item will be tested and
should be a first production item or it may be a standard production item from the contractor's
current inventory as specified in 4.2. The first article should consist of one complete pesticide
sprayer. The contracting officer should include specific instructions in acquisition documents
regarding arrangements for examination, test, and approval of the first article.
