MILITARY SPECIFICATION
SPRAYER AND DUSTER UNITS, INSECTICIDE,
MIST-DUST BLOWER TYPE: GED, 30 to 100 GAL/H LIQUID,
30 to 300 LB/H DUST (COMMERCIAL)
This specification is approved for use by the Naval Facilities
Engineering Command, Department of the Navy, and is available for
use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense.
SCOPE
1.
1.1 Scope. This specification covers a gasoline-engine-driven insecticide
sprayer and cluster unit of the mist-dust type, for outdoor distribution of
chemicals by means of a high velocity air stream.
1.2 Classification. The sprayer and duster unit shall be one of the
following types, as specified (see 6.2):
Type A - Trailer mounted.
Type B - Skid mounted.
